"Roselle Golden Armor Technique" was an improvement on "Stiano Golden Armor Technique." After all, the latter offered nothing beyond defense comparable to a Guardian's.
Roselle's improved Secret Art, however, had distinct features without sacrificing much of that defense.
Those differences went beyond its appearance. It had special abilities, too.
Take the "Aries" in Abner's hands. Once its caster formed the armor, it granted him certain spatial abilities, such as short-range flashes and retrieving objects from a distance within a limited area.
With enough preparation, he could even Travel once to a predetermined location.
After each journey, though, he would have to perform the ritual again and pray to Roselle to grant the Golden Armor that ability anew.
Roselle might have answered when he was the Knowledge Emperor, but now that he was a half-dead Black Emperor, he probably could no longer do so.
All in all, this Secret Art comes nowhere close to what the Gold Cloth can do in the Golden Saints anime... It's still only half-finished!
Fortunately, Roselle recorded his reasoning and some of his ideas in this book when he improved the Secret Art... If I become a Demigod someday and perfect it, I might be able to recreate the Golden Saints' powerful moves...
For now, though, the most useful part is the spatial properties he incorporated into the Golden Armor... Combined with what I learned from analyzing Teleportation and Spirit World Traversal... I might be able to develop a spatial Secret Art usable at Sequence 6.
Hmm, developing it alone would take too long... Maybe I could ask Vice Admiral Iceberg to research it with me? I'm sure he'd be interested.
