Looking at the quill broken into several pieces, Klein thought for a moment, then picked up the notebook beside Sharron and read what she had written.

A moment later, he closed the notebook, his frown deepening. Everything Sharron had written had been an "arrangement" for the people in this dream. She had written nothing about the Primordial Moon.

"But how could an 'arrangement' on this scale break it?" Klein muttered. He picked up the broken quill, ended the "summoning," and returned Above the Gray Fog.

Before the quill's presence could dissipate, Klein quickly conjured paper and a pen and wrote a divination statement:

"The reason the quill in my hand broke."

After repeating it silently seven times, he held the parchment and the already fading "0-08," leaned back, and entered a dream.
