Daly wrote on the paper: "How was Dunn Smith resurrected?"

She had taken a shortcut by not first asking whether Dunn had been resurrected. She simply hadn't found his body, which didn't prove beyond doubt that he had come back to life.

But from the moment she saw Iron Man's eyes, she had felt certain he was her Dunn. She was fairly confident.

And according to Stewart, "2-111" generally wouldn't quibble over a premise that seemed reasonably sound.

Soon, images appeared in the mirror on the altar. They showed a thin-faced man digging up Dunn's body, carrying it in a sack to a villa, then using a "stone" to awaken him.

"It's Doctor Strange! It really is Doctor Strange!

"And more importantly, Dunn... he really has been resurrected!

"He's Iron Man!"

Daly could hardly contain her excitement. A radiant smile lit her face, even as tears streamed down it.

"But... why didn't he come to see me after he was resurrected?

"He should know I'd never report him...

"Did the organization that resurrected him forbid it?

"Or... is that man afraid of dragging down someone with a 'bright future' like me, so he doesn't dare show himself?

"Heh, maybe I've guessed right... That's exactly the sort of thing Dunn would do..."

As her thoughts raced, Daly turned back to the mirror serving as the medium for the Secret Art. She was curious what question it would ask.

When Stewart taught her the Secret Art, he had mentioned that, on the face of it, the technique could bypass some of "2-111's" restrictions. She wouldn't need an audience while answering, and although she would still have to shout her answer, she could choose somewhere deserted or well soundproofed.
