Organization
Mr. Fool summons members to an ancient palace, where they sit around a Bronze Long Table and use Tarot Card names as codenames. Their figures are ordinarily obscured by the Gray Fog, allowing them to cooperate without openly identifying themselves 65 246 468. Mr. Fool approves new members: candidates may be recommended, but members cannot tell outsiders about the Club or invite them to recite his name without authorization 84.
Meetings include contributions of Roselle’s Diary, negotiated trades, commissions, and free discussion. Members can request private conversations shielded from the rest of the gathering. Assistance and information generally follow the principle of equivalent exchange 84 106 468 1098. Sacrificial and bestowal rituals let Mr. Fool receive objects from one member and deliver them to another 106 107.

History
The Club begins as a small network for exchanging formulas, materials, information, and tasks. Tower’s arrival adds a knowledgeable participant who supplies intelligence on the Psychology Alchemists, while the subsequent sacrifice-and-bestowal system makes exchanges of physical items possible across distances 62 65 106 107. Mr. Fool later issues the Club’s first formal mission: the assassination of Intis ambassador Beckland Jean Madan 295.
As members join, their ties to groups including MI9, the Abraham Family, the City of Silver, and the Psychology Alchemists widen the Club’s access to intelligence and resources 246 640. Its exchanges come to include high-sequence characteristics, demigod-level assistance, and coordination between members facing major supernatural threats 813 1098 1124.
The Club makes a collective public appearance at Bayam when several members, using their Tarot titles, repel an attacking Feysac fleet while protecting the harbor’s civilians. The display leads Sea King Jahn Kottman to accept cooperation rather than confrontation 1566 1568 1569. By a later gathering, Justice announces that every member has reached demigod status 1559.
During Mr. Fool’s sleep, Tower convenes a temporary gathering under authority granted to him beforehand. The usual concealment is absent: members appear in their true forms and introduce themselves to invited observers 1616 1617.
