Her love of battle made even the Top Champion steer clear of her, repeatedly declining her challenges on the grounds that she was busy with work.

Nemona glimpsed a possibility.
It came when Skeledirge was blasted away, when Mega Mawile dodged the Tera Fire Torch Song.
Her heart leaped. She couldn't contain herself.
A fighting spirit she hadn't felt in ages filled her mind. Nemona swung her right arm, wrapped in a red guard, and the green hair at her temple fluttered.
"Stand up! Skeledirge! Heat Wave!"
"Bwuuu—oom!"
Reeling from the blow, Skeledirge roared with all its might. Its trainer's fierce excitement gave it the strength to rise again. It shook the sand and stones off its back, then lunged forward on four unsteady legs.
In an instant,
the crystalline candle crown atop its head gleamed.
Fire swirled around Skeledirge like molten lava. With a furious roar, it unleashed orange-red flames and sparks, whipping up a vast, rolling Heat Wave.
