Buzz—!!
Ice flowers danced wildly as the waves churned.
The enormous ice-blue and gleaming-blue whirlpools crashed into each other with a series of low roars. Lightning and sparks seemed to burst from the point of impact!
What shocked the spectators was that despite the enormous difference in size between Cetitan and Galarian Corsola, the whirlpools they created...
The one made by Corsola was actually larger!
There was no doubt about it.
Size was tied to species, while moves were tied to strength.
Grusha had noticed this as well, but he remained calm. Judging strength by the size of a move was a beginner's way of thinking.
"Freeze it!"
He raised his voice, his tone leaving no room for doubt, as if he were announcing an established fact.
The next moment.
Ice Spinner suddenly swelled, and a frigid tide descended from the sky!
White mist and frost spread over the swirling water. The fine, crisp sounds were like an endless string of firecrackers, and in the blink of an eye, it froze into a jagged, whirlpool-shaped ice sculpture!
"Roar!!"
Ice Spinner continued without pause amid the furious roar. It even accelerated and smashed into the frozen whirlpool, sending shattered ice crystals flying through the air as immense frigid mist billowed and scattered, blocking the spectators' view.
The crowd cheered loudly, and the Cetitan beside Grusha happily hopped in place.
Nemona, however, narrowed her eyes at the battlefield, her expression strange.
On the field, Cetitan growled as it waved its long fins to disperse the mist, intending to press its advantage, but Corsola was nowhere to be seen among the shattered ice.
It had mysteriously vanished.
"Not good! It's on Cetitan's head!"
Someone cried out, and bewildered gazes immediately followed.
Sure enough, between Cetitan's front and rear horns on the opposite side
