Blissey's voice was low, as though she were holding up an immense weight.
An invisible wave surged outward.
Psychic power and Dragon Flame clashed fiercely. Their dazzling light rose like a sun, bathing the battlefield in pure azure.
Bai Niao shouted, "Psychic has stopped Salamence's assault again! Salamence is in trouble!"

Blood-red light flared in Salamence's eyes. Roaring in fury, it reared up again and slashed through the barrier with its other claw!

Amid countless cries of alarm, Salamence opened its enormous jaws and lunged at Blissey, blazing Dragon Flame mingling with its bite!
This was bad!
Everyone who knew Blissey understood how weak her Physical Defense was.
Even with her enormous reserves of health, an attack past a certain threshold could still deal her a devastating blow.
