Of Xignos's six Banshees, Talaga had the greatest strength and potential. When the Six-Headed Xignos died and became six Banshee spirits, Talaga alone inherited nearly half his mental power. The other five shared the remaining half, which showed just how great the difference between them was.

That was why Talaga was always so muddleheaded. She would inexplicably fall asleep no matter how important the matter at hand, becoming a scatterbrain in the truest sense! Her mental power was so immense that her current spirit form simply could not bear it. Instead of being an asset, that power had become a burden.

"Hungry! I'm so hungry!" After possessing Woody Silk, Talaga unconsciously spoke what was on her mind.

"What did you say, Woody Silk?" The young man walking ahead was pursuing the beautiful half-Elf named Woody Silk. Hearing her mutter behind him, he immediately turned to ask, eager for a chance to show his attentiveness. He had no idea that Woody Silk's soul had already become Talaga's food. Once Talaga entered a body, she devoured its soul; only that could replenish the spirit form her vast mental power constantly drained.

"Oh, nothing." Talaga gave a perfunctory reply.

"Stop chatting!" the burly, bearded man at the front rebuked them in a low voice. There was a warning in his tone, and he shot the young man a fierce glare.

The young man, whose excess hormones had left his face covered in pimples, shrank back in fright. He did not dare say another word and hurried a few steps to catch up.

Talaga could concentrate on her meal. Devouring a person's soul was no simple matter. Even with her formidable mental power, she could not easily consume the soul of an intelligent being. She needed time to savor this delicious lunch.

"Where are
