Bang!
A crushing shield bash slammed the Orc Legendary to the ground. More than ten wounds left him drenched in blood. A gash ran across his left eye to the corner of his mouth, and a greatsword had pierced his left shoulder...
Yet his eyes remained resolute. He showed no sign of backing down.
Death! He did not fear it. It was merely the beginning of another fate, and he firmly believed the great Beast God would recognize his honor as a warrior.
"Human warrior! Tell me your name..." The Orc Legendary stood stubbornly upright. He had nearly bled dry, but his honor as a warrior would not let him kneel. Only death could bring him down!
"Hilgaf! Hilgaf Darin. Orc warrior, you are an opponent worthy of respect." Mrs. Hilgaf's visor had long since been knocked away. Dried blood covered half her face, and a huge gash had been torn through her expensive enchanted breastplate. Without that armor, worth thirty thousand Gold Pounds, she probably would not have been much better off than the Orc before her.
But sometimes expensive equipment was part of one's strength. In their fight to the death, Mrs. Hilgaf had come out on top with only minor injuries.
"Hilgaf Darin..." the Orc Legendary murmured. At last, he fell straight back with a crash.
Mrs. Hilgaf narrowed her eyes. She could no longer sense any life in him. Slowly, she raised her blood-soaked greatsword.
In an instant, the human Shield Warriors around her raised their swords and roared, fired up beyond restraint.
Having witnessed Mrs. Hilgaf's battle, the human soldiers were completely won over.
Mrs. Hilgaf might not have been the strongest person on the battlefield, but she was its purest warrior. Every shout, every roar, every battle cry stirred the most primal fighting spirit
