It was not that the three Fortress Heavy Cannons were overwhelmingly powerful. Three guns alone were not enough to change the course of the battle.
Rather, the Gray Elf Queen had suddenly realized she knew almost nothing about the enemy to the south. How much territory did they hold? How many troops and weapons did they have? How many Calamity-Rank Strong Ones, and what deadly trump cards? She could not be sure of any of it. She had simply guessed that they stood a good chance of winning.
