These red-skinned Half-Orcs were descendants of Demons and Red Orcs. They were not particularly large, but they were exceptionally clever and cunning, making them ideal assassins and spies.
The Half-Orc dropped to one knee. "Great Magma Lord!"
"What is it?" Apollo lifted his eyelids. A sharp glint flashed in his eyes as he looked at the Half-Orc, who stood less than two meters tall.
The Half-Orc broke into a cold sweat under his gaze and hurriedly said, "Word just came in from the Asgar Kingdom..."
Apollo listened as the Half-Orc rattled off his report, then gave a knowing sneer. "Oh? I didn't expect things to go so smoothly. It seems the Holy Light Cult is getting impatient too. Those people preach mercy and light all day, but behind the scenes, they're the same as ever."
After that, Apollo's expression settled. He narrowed his eyes. "But legend says the Solar Core I lost is hidden in the Asgar Kingdom. I don't know how much truth there is to it. The Divine War is about to begin. If I can't recover the Solar Core, my chances of winning are slim."
The thought made him wonder again whether someone had deliberately spread the rumor as a trap to lure him in.
In fact, when Apollo first heard that the Solar Core might be in the Asgar Kingdom, he had suspected a trap—or, at the very least, bait meant specifically for him.
After all, plenty of Deities knew he had lost the Solar Core. Otherwise, how could the mighty Sun God of the Titan Race have fallen into a Greater Demon, reduced to hiding underground like this, neither man nor monster?
