The man did not answer. He formed hand seals and revealed a strange smile.

It was as though he had opened a seal, and a colossal creature was summoned forth.

Having accomplished his goal, the man vanished on the spot.

All of Konoha erupted into chaos as terrified cries rang out from every direction.

The moment Long Ye saw this, he understood. The chakra he had severed earlier had actually been one of the Nine-Tails' tails, causing that tail to remain inside Kushina Uzumaki.
