"That is to establish a universal religion and make it the common faith of the Shinobi World. Anyone who does not believe in this religion will be branded a heretic..."
"I believe that within five years at most, there will be no more wars in the Shinobi World. Peace will last far longer than a hundred years."
Long Ye's expression changed.
This man's method was clearly much more sophisticated than Nagato's.
Nagato's method was to resort to force, using overwhelming power to rule the Shinobi World by force.
This man's method, however, was to use ideas—to give everyone in the Shinobi World a common faith at the level of their will, thereby achieving his goal of ruling them.
One worked through actions, while the other worked through thoughts. Clearly, the latter was a level above.
But having lived two lives, Long Ye knew perfectly well that neither method could avoid war forever.
As far as the goal of "permanent peace" was concerned, neither method could ever fulfill it.
Both methods had appeared in the history of his previous life.

Although the Death God asked him, a strong person's confidence meant that his views and decisions could not possibly be changed. Nagato was the best example.
Long Ye knew this very well, so he had no intention of
