Arrival in the Sky Island

Year 1487 of the Marine Era.

Along with the ascent of the annual super-giant Knock Up Stream, the residents of the Sky Island all wore exuberant and enthusiastic expressions as Gan Fall, the god of the Sky Island, stood at the edge of Upper Yard, the God's Island, eagerly anticipating the gift from the Blue Sea that this current would bring them.

To these people who had long resided on the Sky Island, the Blue Sea always seemed like a legendary existence; only when the annual super-giant current occurred could they have an intersection with the world of the Blue Sea, while also allowing them to feel the vast world that lay beneath their feet.

Yet on the other side, hidden from view, those Shandia stared with anger and resentment at that God's Island of Upper Yard which rightfully belonged to them, while secretly plotting how to defeat Gan Fall, the god of the Sky Island, and retake their own homeland.

As the rumbling sound of water gradually approached the Sky Island, a massive torrent of water flew from beneath the sea of clouds up onto the Sky Island.

Unlike ordinary Upward Currents, the annual super-giant Knock Up Stream produced violently abnormal gushing seawater; not only was the current enormous, but even its height surpassed all previous years.

The thick current, the size of an entire island, transformed into a water spout, spinning rapidly and shooting straight into the firmament, surpassing the highest vines of Upper Yard, the God's Island, as if it intended to fly all the way to the moon.

This caused torrential rain to pour across the entire Sky Island, mixed with countless gifts from the Blue Sea that scattered all around the surroundings of the Sky Island.

A guard held up an umbrella for Gan Fall, but the god waved his hand and ordered the surrounding guards,

"Order God's Army to collect these items as quickly as possible, and if there are any survivors from the Blue Sea, protect them properly!"

"Understood, Lord Gan Fall."

These guards bowed respectfully before dispersing to carry out Gan Fall's orders.

While the guards were collecting the gifts from the Blue Sea, amidst the enormous current, there was a boat that looked completely ordinary, of a very small model. The vessel drifted with the water and landed within the Shandia's residential area, and thus it was not discovered by the members of God's Army; moreover, the local Shandia were venting their anger at the time and failed to notice the small boat either, leaving it to drift endlessly within the sea of clouds.

At a certain location in the sea of clouds of the Sky Island, after drifting back and forth several times, the small boat finally came to rest against the shore, floating there without the slightest movement, while the surrounding forest cooperated by not emitting a single sound.

Not long after, a creaking sound rang out in the jungle, accompanied by a child of around six years old walking out from the forest.

The child looked extremely cautious, glancing around a few times with utmost care. After making sure there was no one nearby, he walked joyfully and stealthily to the side of the small boat, and then extended hands covered in scars to climb aboard the vessel via a damaged section of the cabin.

The child's footsteps were very light. Walking on the deck, he seemed deathly afraid of startling whatever was inside the boat, and a pair of bright eyes looked around the vessel. Making sure there were no unexpected hazards, he then sneaked into the cabin while muttering to himself.

I hope I can find some good things.

However, the young boy who walked into the cabin was greatly disappointed.

As it turned out, under the effects of the terrifying Knock Up Stream, the cabin was already dilapidated and riddled with several large holes, and whatever items had been inside had washed away through the damaged sections of the cabin long ago.

Yet just as the disappointed young boy was about to leave the cabin, he suddenly heard a strange noise by his ear. The young boy shrank back in fright, slowly turned around, and then discovered with pleasant surprise that tucked in the corner of the cabin near a broken hole, a wooden barrel was sitting there.

As it turned out, this barrel had jammed against the split opening of the cabin and gotten stuck there, miraculously avoiding being washed away.

"Great."

The young boy clenched his fist with a hint of joy.

"Looks like heaven is blessing me, making this trip not in vain. Who knows, there might be some good stuff inside."

Full of anticipation, the young boy walked over to the wooden barrel, intending to first drag it to the entrance of the cabin.

Judging by appearances, however, the young boy had also been hungry for some time and lacked much strength, completely unable to budge the barrel.

Whatever, I'll just open the barrel first and see if there's anything good inside.

As the young boy spoke, he drew an iron rod from the pack on his back and forcefully pried at the lid of the barrel. With the boy's face turning red from exertion, the lid was popped open with a click.

The young boy peered into the wooden barrel full of anticipation, and then...

"Ah..."

The young boy was startled because there was neither food nor drink inside the barrel, nor anything else that interested him; all it contained was a boy who looked about his own age.

He had a head of red hair and wore clothes that looked quite luxurious, his entire body curled up inside the barrel.

The young boy cautiously extended a finger and probed, wanting to see if this child inside was still alive.

Fortunately, the boy in the barrel still had a sliver of breath.

He's still alive... Looks like he passed out from being deprived of air in the barrel for too long,

the young boy guessed, then reached out to shake the body of the fellow in front of him, hoping to wake him up.

After just a few shakes, the boy in the barrel was roused by the young boy, and then looked at him with hazy eyes and asked...

"Where is this?"

Ye Mu felt very tired, a sense of powerlessness filling his entire body, leaving him without even the strength to open his eyes, accompanied by a sickening urge to vomit.

Only after feeling someone shaking him did he unconsciously open his eyes.

After the blinding sunlight faded, he saw a young boy of five or six years old staring at him with curiosity.

This left him somewhat bewildered!

"Where is this?"

Ye Mu clearly remembered sleeping at home, so how did he come here? And who was this little boy? Why was he in his house?

However, after his eyes adjusted to the glare, he turned his head to examine his surroundings and decisively dismissed that thought.

Massive trees propping up the heavens, rivers flowing with clouds, and this strange child right before his eyes.

This was clearly a fantasy-style primeval forest, nothing like his home at all!

This instantly shocked him completely awake.

"Hey, little guy... Where is this?"

Ye Mu tried to keep his tone as gentle as possible so as not to scare the little boy in front of him. After all, this little boy might be the only person who understood his current situation.

Yet the moment the words left his mouth, he felt something was wrong.

Ye Mu was entirely too familiar with his own voice, but the sound he was producing right now was truly bizarre—it was not his voice at all.

Then, he looked down at his own body.

His arms had grown smaller, his legs had grown smaller, his torso had grown smaller, and his entire person had shrunk.

He was also wearing extremely ornate clothing, as though belonging to European royalty or nobility, with a huge ruby inlaid at his chest.

"Hey... Hey... What the hell is going on here..."

Ye Mu shook his head, finding it hard to believe the events before his eyes.

Right at that moment, he saw the little boy in front of him look at him with a strange and guarded expression, saying, "This is Sky Island. You're from the Blue Sea, so naturally you wouldn't know."

"Sky Island... Blue Sea?"

Why did those words sound so familiar? Ah right, weren't these places from One Piece?

Ye Mu found it somewhat hard to accept what was happening to him, and a curse slipped right out of his mouth.

"Damn it, I actually time-traveled... And I came to the world of One Piece, right to Sky Island."
