Sanji enjoyed the food like a gentleman while remembering to praise the beautiful girl before him.
Nami enjoyed a delicious piece of cake as she thanked her.
"Thank you so much. I never expected you not only to forgive us, Conis, but to invite us to dinner as well!"
Conis replied warmly.
"There's no need to thank me. I'm happy to be able to help you. Besides, you were deceived by those people too."
Conis's words piqued Nami's curiosity.
"What exactly is going on? Why did those people say that Mr. Ace had set up a challenge here, and that anyone who defeated him would receive a million Beli? Was that a lie?"
Conis covered her mouth and chuckled.
"That part wasn't a lie. Ace really did say that, but it happened several years ago. Boys, you know? When they're young, they always go through a hot-blooded and rebellious phase."
