Countless battles had allowed these Marines from Headquarters and the Four Seas to grow quickly. They had adapted to the terrifying New World and, in order to survive the coming battles, had begun training hard.
Just as the Marines were halfway through their training, the alarm suddenly rang throughout the G5 Branch.
"Assembly! Assembly! All Marine soldiers, board your assigned warships within ten minutes!"

As more and more pirates poured into the New World, the pressure on the Grand Line had greatly diminished. The Marines had transferred many officers to the G5 Branch, including Admiral Kuzan; the Admiral candidates Gion and Chaton; Vice Admirals Volcanic Burn and Mole; as well as Smoker, Tashigi, Koby, and Helmeppo, who had recently arrived and been rapidly promoted.
