It was a vast, empty world. Dazzling warmth filled everything, making it seem like paradise.
Looking up, there was a sky complete with sun and clouds. Below lay a deep-blue sea, its waves rolling.
At the heart of this world, a waterfall plunged from the heavens like a river of stars. Its roar echoed everywhere. Beyond it, there was nothing. The place was so quiet it seemed devoid of life.
Just then, something whistled through the sky, and black specks began to fall.
As they drew closer, they turned out to be ships and tiny human figures.
Splash, splash, splash...
The once-calm sea erupted with the sound of things hitting the water like raindrops.
Against the power of the sea, any one person was far too weak.
After entering the great whirlpool, even a monster as strong as Hawkeye had grown dazed. He had spent hours plummeting through darkness, unable to tell east from west or up from down.
Fortunately, the warm seawater brought him back to his senses. The feeling of suffocation made him open his eyes.
A bright world lay above him. Hawkeye kicked twice and broke the surface.
Everywhere he looked, wreckage floated on the water. It resembled a graveyard of pirate ships.
Hawkeye no longer cared about that.
"So this is the real Laugh Tale!"
He unleashed his powerful Observation Haki, and his sharp gaze fixed on the waterfall descending from the sky.
He sensed that something lay within it.
But that could wait. First, he had people to save.
With that thought, he prepared to dive back under and search for Crocodile and Doflamingo.
After all, the two were still his allies!
Before he could, bubbles rose beside him, and a familiar figure surfaced.
"Nico Robin!"
It really was Nico Robin. She had just swum
