Some listened with relish, deep in thought, while others were completely baffled. Ace, who barely knew any words, and four-year-old Luffy were both staring blankly.
"I'll go carry it out right away!" Tiger said excitedly. He no longer had the slightest doubt about Ryan's nine-word mantra; all that remained was admiration.
"Are you sure you remembered everything?" Ryan looked at Tiger with slight skepticism.
No matter how good a plan was, if it wasn't conveyed properly or carried out properly, its effectiveness would be greatly diminished.
"Leader, don't worry!" The one who spoke was not Tiger, but Jinbe. Jinbe waved the pen and paper in his hand.
Holy crap! He actually had this stuff? Ryan had never expected him to carry paper and pen around like that.
"Be careful—make sure it's conveyed properly!" Ryan still reminded him uneasily.
Tiger patted his chest. "Leader, you can rest assured when I'm handling things!"
Then Ryan began discussing the details with Tiger and the others, such as how the branches should operate and how to befriend people with real influence.
After all, Tiger and the others had never done these things before. Even Ryan had never personally put them into practice. Much of it was like feeling their way across a river by stepping on stones; they needed to accumulate experience before they could do better.
Failure was the mother of success. That wasn't empty nonsense. What Ryan and Tiger were doing now was trying to reduce the number of failures and minimize their losses.
"Brother Ace, I want to join the Freedom Alliance!" While Ryan and the others were discussing matters, a voice suddenly rang out. It was Sabo, who had been listening carefully just moments before.
"Sabo, you?" Ace was puzzled. Why would his best friend suddenly say something like that?
