The moment Ryan arrived at the scene, he spotted Higuma in a reddish-brown coat, smiling broadly.

Soon, several deep trenches carved by his slashes appeared around the fire. This was the most effective method Ryan could think of at the moment.

He would create a firebreak before the blaze spread completely, preventing it from harming anyone.

"Who are you? How dare you ruin my good thing!" Higuma stared warily at the sword-wielding Ryan. He had seen what Ryan had just done, but verbally, he refused to back down.

"Did you start this fire?" Ryan did not answer directly, instead asking with a faint smile.

Now that the fire had been dealt with, Ryan was in no hurry.

"I did. So what?" Higuma answered instinctively.

"Boss, why explain anything to him? Just kill him!" Higuma himself did not react much, but his subordinates and lackeys could not stand it.
