"What! Then what exactly is your identity?" Ryan had never expected that answer, so his question came off a little demanding.

"I'm just me!" Shanks said with a smile.

Buggy was a Celestial Dragon, while Shanks was not! Then why could Shanks meet the Celestial Dragons directly? Could the Five Elders have made a mistake? Back then, Shanks and Buggy had probably both been brought out of the battle at God Valley.

That was the most likely answer Ryan could think of. Some Celestial Dragons had probably survived back then and informed the Five Elders about it. At the time, they might have all believed that child was already dead.

But as Shanks's reputation grew louder and louder, the World Government would certainly investigate everything about him. With his age matching as well, it was perfectly normal for them to get it wrong. As for Buggy, with no reputation to speak of, he simply would not catch the Five Elders' attention.

In their eyes, the descendants of gods should be as outstanding as Shanks. And Shanks had gone along with the mistake, using the opportunity to meddle in the affairs of the world.
