She paused, then asked.
"That new area was discovered by Yuan Yuan and the others. As the person they trust most, would you be willing to join the first group of explorers, Brother Gu Sheng? Though we do not yet know what lies within, an ancient restriction deemed 'exceptionally sturdy' by the Tantai Family cannot be guarding anything ordinary."
Gu Sheng pondered for a moment.
The arena match was three days away, and the auction would be over by then. Time-wise... "What about Ning Shuang and Qing Tan?"
He thought of the companions who had come with him.
A trace of helplessness flashed across Miss Tantai's face.
"While training in another area, Sister Ning Shuang and Sister Qing Tan encountered a group of troublesome Bone-Eroding Shadow Leopards. Their foundations were unharmed, but they suffered fairly serious flesh wounds and yin energy corrosion. They need several days to recuperate. We must wait until their injuries heal and they return to their best condition before exploring the new area. By my estimate, that will also be in around three days."
Three days? Gu Sheng calculated inwardly. The arena match was tomorrow, and the auction was tonight. Once it ended, he would have one or two days free. The timing was quite suitable.
He nodded.
"Very well. Count me in when the time comes. Also, I have some things I'd like to trouble you to pass on to Ning Shuang and Qing Tan. They may help with their recovery."
He meant some of the Spirit Stones he had "won" from Shi Wufeng, along with several healing pills he had refined himself. His companions were injured, so naturally he could not ignore them.
"Brother Gu Sheng, you are too thoughtful. Leave it to me."
Miss Tantai agreed happily.
Then concern surfaced in her eyes
