Teach slammed his right hand against the ground, and dense darkness spread outward like a rushing tide! To the two knights facing him, it looked like an ancient beast opening its jaws, its gaping maw filled with murderous intent. Savage and cold!

The two knights felt their skin prickle as instinctive fear gripped them. Their bodies were warning them: they had to dodge this attack, or they might die here!

"Lunar Step!" they shouted together.

One of God's Six Powers, Lunar Step was far more formidable than Geppo of the Six Powers. Geppo let its user walk through the air, but flight was slow. Lunar Step made up for that weakness: it took less effort and was faster. Even more frightening, no one could tell the two apart by sight alone. In truth, every step in Lunar Step was placed at a precise angle. That tiny difference, one most people would overlook, was what set the two techniques so far apart!

But back to the fight.
