The fissures spread so fast that countless soldiers had no time to react. They returned to Mother Earth's embrace and fell into an eternal sleep...

Golden Lion, standing beside Whitebeard, refused to be outdone. The Great Grade Blade Kogarashi, strapped to his right foot, lightly scraped the ground—not that it did much; his Devil Fruit power was doing the work. Under the power of his Float-Float Fruit, which he had long since developed to the level of Awakening, the already ravaged earth changed once more. Sand, stones, and other inanimate matter gathered into lifelike lion heads! Roaring, they swiftly reaped life after life!

"Gurararara!"

"Jihahahaha!"

When the two legendary pirates struck, the World Government had no time to react. Before the two sides had even begun fighting in earnest, it had lost more than a thousand soldiers!

"Damn pirates! Don't fall back! There's nowhere left to retreat! Mary Geoise is behind us—the very face of the World Government! Soldiers, charge with me! Hurrah!" At that moment, Akainu took the lead. He swung both arms, and a Great Eruption signaled the start of the final battle!

Scorching boulders of magma rained down on the pirates. The Fleet Admiral's deadliest attack was no joke. If this Great Eruption struck the pirate ranks, it would cause at least as many casualties as the two legendary pirates' attacks!

In terms of speed, though, Great Eruption fell far short of their attacks!

"Hmph! A brat who lights candles!" Whitebeard scoffed.

"Hmph! A brat who heats beds!" Golden Lion scoffed.

Clearly, neither legend thought much of the Fleet Admiral!
