Could X stand for the New World? The question suddenly surfaced in Swain's mind. Like a stone dropped into a still lake, it sent ripples through his thoughts.

Gradually, that suspicion grew stronger, spreading like an unstoppable force. He began to ponder it carefully, recalling detail after detail from the past.

"Someone, come here!" His voice held a note of urgency and resolve.

Before his words had faded, a guard hurried before him and respectfully awaited his orders.

Swain picked up a pen and rapidly wrote something on the paper, his strokes as sharp as his thoughts were swift.

When he finished, he handed the map to the guard and said with a determined gaze, "Bring me the map!"

The guard took the map and quickly left.

Once the map reached Swain's hands, his eyes swept across it, sharp as a hawk's. His gaze was focused and resolute, as though he meant to see through the thin sheet of paper and uncover the secrets hidden within.

Suddenly, he picked up a marker and marked a location without hesitation.

Here? A flicker of doubt stirred in his mind.

He began considering his next move.
