The air in the Main Control Room was tense and mysterious. Swain stood in the vast, high-tech space, his mind full of doubts.
"This is the place, right?" Swain's voice broke the silence, but no answer came.
He frowned and called out again. "Hey!"
After a long pause, Pluton's voice came through in broken bursts. "Don't rush me. I'm getting signal interference!"
Swain grew even more suspicious. Why would the signal fail at such a crucial moment?
It was all too convenient.
"What do I do now? There are a lot of big screens in front of me, and they're covered in... code?" Swain asked, studying the screens and their strange, flickering light.
"That should be writing from our kingdom," Pluton explained.
"Follow my instructions. Press the communicator, and it'll let us share what we see."
Swain hesitated, but in the end, he decided to follow Pluton's instructions.
He slowly reached out and pressed the communicator.
The seconds ticked by. About half a minute later, Swain's eyes sharpened as a virtual eye appeared above the communicator, an impressive piece of technology.
But the sight did not captivate him. It only put him further on guard.
