Jabra slowly transformed into a wolfman. A long braid hung down the back of his head, and the large character for "rogue" was written across his chest. He looked thoroughly sinister and cunning.
His transformation gave the little girl beside him quite a fright.
"How did he turn into the Big Bad Wolf? He's so scary!"
"Don't be afraid. Big brother will protect you. Rest assured."
Palo stood up, the veins in his neck bulging.
What he hated most were people who laid hands on innocent children. Children clearly understood nothing, so why did they have to be put to death?
"No matter what happens today, you're finished!"
Palo tilted his head and clasped his fists together, making his knuckles crack.
Jabra froze for a moment, and his wolf tail drooped in dejection.
"I actually don't want to kill anyone. I didn't touch that child just now either."
He looked utterly dejected, as if Palo's misunderstanding had deeply hurt him.
When Jabra saw that Palo said nothing, he continued, "I'm a Marine, you know. So what if I'm a member of CP9? I've had enough of fighting and killing every day."
As he spoke, he cautiously walked toward Palo.
"Can I touch that little girl?"
Palo did not answer. He merely stood there expressionlessly, seemingly considering whether the man's words were true.
One step, then another. Jabra drew closer and closer to Palo.
Hehe, I'm about to succeed!
"What kind of bullshit are you feeding me?"
Palo punched Jabra in the stomach. Jabra did not even have time to use Iron Body before Palo's punch sent him flying.
"What's wrong with you? Weren't you supposed to believe me just now?"
"Who do you take for an idiot? I'd have to be crazy to believe a word you said."
