They exchanged a glance, and Thanos turned to Ebony Maw. "Is... is this real?"
Ebony Maw stared at the red stone in Thanos's hand, stunned.

"Father, this really is the Reality Stone!" Ebony Maw said.
As a sorcerer, Ebony Maw could sense the aura of Reality Magic within the red stone.

"Then why was the Reality Stone on our ship?" Thanos asked. That was the question that mattered.

After a moment, Ebony Maw ventured, "Father, could the Ancient One and the others have dropped it here when they came earlier?"
