Nick Fury was an old fox, after all.
Stark genuinely doubted anything serious could happen to an old fox like him.
Whatever came up, Nick Fury always seemed able to handle it.
"Honestly, Steve, I really don't think anything's happened to Nick Fury. If anyone knows how to stay out of trouble, it's him. That old fox has seen it all. Haven't you fallen for his tricks enough times?" Stark shrugged and spoke without a hint of concern.
He was nowhere near as anxious as Captain America. Then again, Stark was not one to show his nerves.
More importantly, Stark had never believed Nick Fury would come to any harm.
So he was not worried.
If anything, something else concerned him more.
"Shouldn't you be more worried about who destroyed the S.H.I.E.L.D. Building?" Stark asked Captain America after a pause.
He had to admit it.
Right now, that mattered more to Stark than whether Nick Fury was all right.

Even Black Widow's last attempt to set him up had not done him any real harm.
Stark could not imagine this would be any different.
Captain America fell silent on the other end of the call. After thinking it over, he seemed to agree with Stark. "You may have a point. But who do you think could have done this?"
Captain America waited for his answer.
"Oh, that's hard to say. Honestly, I can't think of anyone who could do it. Not even Hulk, and he's the strongest one around."
"I know S.H.I.E.L.D.'s defense system. If they switched it to full defense mode, Hulk wouldn't even be able to damage the building."

"And I watched the video. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Building didn't seem to take any external hits. Judging by the damage
