Instead, there was a trace of hatred.
Hela hated Odin.
Back then, Hela had fought alongside Odin across the Nine Provinces, uniting Asgard.
And in the end...
Not only had she received nothing, she had even been sealed away for hundreds of years.
Hatred filled Hela's heart.
Surely Odin understood that hatred, too.
What Hela had not expected, however, was for Odin to release her now.
But Hela did not dwell on it. Now that she had been released...
There was no question that she would come to Asgard and reclaim the throne that belonged to her.
"My foolish daughter Hela! Even after being sealed away for hundreds of years, you still refuse to repent!" Odin was furious at her behavior.
His voice carried an air of authority.
But all he received was Hela's sneer. "You don't need to speak to me in that tone, because very soon, you will no longer be Asgard's king."
A faint smile crossed Hela's face as she spoke.
She strode briskly toward Odin.
When she reached him, Hela extended her hand, spread her fingers, and placed them on his head. "Honestly, when I was in Hel, I was already dreaming of crushing your head just like this."
A smug smile appeared on Hela's face.
Yet Odin's expression remained remarkably calm.
Not even a flicker of emotion crossed it.
He merely looked at Hela and said in an emotionless voice, "Even if you kill me, Asgard will not be yours."
"Because Earth will soon be destroyed."
"The second God War is approaching. Those gods from beyond the Multiverse will soon descend upon Earth. This time, Earth will either be destroyed or reborn."
Odin looked at Hela with a rare despondency in his eyes.

"What does any of that have to do with me?"
