Peter Parker Seeks Recommendations and Bookmarks

Forest Hills Elementary School.

One of the oldest established public elementary schools in Queens, New York, United States.

"It is truly our school's honor to have Rimuru enroll here. Please rest assured, our school will make sure Rimuru feels the warmth of home!"

After hanging up, the principal of Forest Hills Elementary School could not help wiping away his sweat.

Just who was this Rimuru Tempest? It was only a transfer, yet in the span of half a day, he had already received calls from three big shots.

One call had come from the Director of the Queens Department of Education. He had specifically informed him that a student named Rimuru would be transferring to Forest Hills Elementary School and told him to take especially good care of her.

If that call had merely made him pay a little more attention, then the second call had completely stunned him. It had come from none other than the recently prominent Iron Man Tony Stark.

He had specifically instructed the school to look after Rimuru, then donated five million Dollars to Forest Hills Elementary School.

Upon hearing the news, the principal had nearly fainted from excitement. He had even wondered whether he had heard one extra zero.

This was an elementary school, not a university—and a public one at that. In over twenty years as principal, he had practically never seen what a donation looked like, much less one this enormous.

What absurd wealth!

The third call had been even more mysterious. An FBI agent named Natasha Romanoff had informed him that the school was temporarily under FBI supervision and demanded his cooperation.

Natasha promised that if he performed well during the mission, his position might be moved up in a few years.

The principal had been dumbfounded on the spot. He had served as an elementary school principal for twenty years and had nearly believed he would remain in that position until retirement.

And now he actually had a chance at promotion?!

Just who was Rimuru Tempest?

Tempest... was there some powerful figure in the country with that surname?

The principal could not figure it out no matter how hard he thought, but that did not stop him from passing down the higher-ups' instructions to the school's teachers tenfold, a hundredfold.

What Rimuru did not know was that before she had even enrolled, every member of the school's upper management already knew about her.

What she knew even less was that those big shots were far more enthusiastic about her enrollment than she had imagined.

Rimuru had originally thought she would be deeply resistant to attending elementary school, but when she truly stepped onto the campus, her heart instead calmed down.

She could certainly ignore S.H.I.E.L.D.'s arrangements, but that would also mean openly rejecting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s goodwill.

The Slime King's abilities were awesome, but Rimuru herself was very laid-back by nature. She hated trouble more than anything!

When she thought of Hulk being chased by his father-in-law every day and occasionally getting fed peanuts and watermelon, Rimuru felt that attending elementary school was actually pretty great.

Thus, Rimuru naturally became a student at Forest Hills Elementary School.

As for why she had chosen this public elementary school, there was only one reason—Peter Parker was a student here!

If you entered Marvel and did not take Spidey as your little brother, what difference was there between that and being a salted fish?

The moment she entered the school, Rimuru received an enthusiastic welcome from the principal. The treatment was practically comparable to that of a high-ranking education official inspecting the school.

Rimuru could not help feeling speechless. He was the principal, yet he was groveling before a student like this. Was that really okay?

When she met her homeroom teacher, Jacqueline, Rimuru was even more astonished. Her manner was so gentle, her tone so kind, and her smile so sweet that Rimuru had never seen the like in either this life or her previous one.

That attitude of favoring students was only slightly inferior to a certain university's full scholarship plus three study companions.

Was the gap great? Not at all!

Classroom.

Jacqueline stood at the podium with a beaming smile. "I have good news for everyone. We have another transfer student joining our class. Let's welcome her!"

Clap, clap!

A scattered round of applause rang through the classroom. The students were all curious, but faintly resistant and displeased as well.

To avoid disrupting the pace of learning, students generally transferred at the beginning of a semester.

But it was already the end of the semester, with just over a month until summer vacation. This was clearly not a good time to transfer.

Of course, such things had happened before, and not infrequently.

In the United States, children from powerful and wealthy families generally attended private schools.

Naturally, there were exceptions. For instance, students who had committed some serious mistake at school and been expelled, forcing them to transfer to public school.

So when they heard there was a transfer student, the class's first thought was—could this be some trash rejected by a private school and dumped into their class?

However, the instant Rimuru entered the classroom, every student's eyes widened. Even their breathing grew hurried, and for a moment, the room was silent enough to hear a pin drop.

Oh my God, was this the new transfer student joining their class?

She was way too pretty, way too cute!

She was clearly wearing the school uniform, yet she somehow felt completely different.

She looked like a beautiful girl who had stepped out of a painting. Her long blue hair and golden eyes, especially, made her look exceptionally unique.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Rimuru Tempest. Please take care of me from now on!"

After writing her name on the blackboard with chalk, Rimuru gave a simple introduction.

Unlike before, the classroom immediately erupted in enthusiastic applause, wave after wave.

"So that's the new transfer student? She's so cute!"

"It's such a blessing to be classmates with such an adorable girl!"

"Her eyes are actually golden! That's so rare. Is she wearing colored contacts? She's so pretty!"

Listening to the chatter of her classmates, Rimuru sighed. Earth was no longer the Earth it had once been, but the world was still the same world.

Looks decided everything!

With the skill [Magic Sense], Rimuru's five senses were far too sharp.

She had heard every word of the disgust many students had felt earlier. Quite a few had even openly said that another piece of trash had arrived.

But after seeing her face, everything changed!

In the blink of an eye, she became one of the most popular students in the class.

Jacqueline said, "Now that everyone has gotten acquainted, Rimuru can sit beside... Peter Parker!"

Huh?

Little Peter Parker was instantly dumbstruck!

Hadn't he just been watching the whole thing unfold?

Since when had such heaven-defying luck fallen onto his head?

But the moment he sensed the naked hostility from the students around him, Peter Parker's scalp went numb.

I'm done for, I'm done for. That's some serious hatred... a beauty brings disaster!

To avoid getting beaten up by the class bullies, even if I starve to death or jump off a building, I, Peter Parker, will never say a single word to Rimuru!

Rimuru set down her little backpack, then turned to the tiny, tiny Spidey and said, "My name is Rimuru. We'll be desk mates from now on, so please take care of me!"

The tiny, tiny Spidey blushed and stammered, "I-I-I... My name is Peter Benjamin Parker. I live in XXX residential complex in Forest Hills, Queens, with Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Aunt May and Uncle Ben call me Peter. The students in class usually call me 'Bookworm Peter,' while Thompson calls me 'Insignificant Peter'!"

Pfft!

Rimuru could not help laughing. She had only said hello, not conducted a household registration survey!

Had Spidey's chatterbox trait already begun taking shape at this age?

Seeing Rimuru laugh, Little Peter's face immediately turned red. Embarrassed, he scratched the back of his head. He looked adorably dazed and foolish.

So cute—he had to be a boy!

After seeing the tiny, tiny Spidey's adorable little face, a thought suddenly surged into Rimuru's mind. Once it appeared, she could no longer shake it off!

(PS: I looked up a lot of information, but I couldn't find out which elementary school Spidey attended. I only know that he lived in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, so I wrote Forest Hills Elementary School. It probably won't affect the reading experience, but if anyone knows, please let me know!)
