Adamantium was made by mixing extraterrestrial meteorite components with carbon alloy. It was indestructible, the hardest metal known on Earth.
Once smelted, it had to be kept at a high temperature of 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit—815.55555 degrees Celsius.
At such temperatures, Adamantium remained liquid and could be forged into any shape.
But once it cooled, it normally could not be damaged or destroyed, nor could its shape be altered. It would not even melt at temperatures of 500,000 degrees Celsius.
What did 500,000 degrees Celsius even mean?
Earth's core was roughly 4,982 degrees Celsius, the Sun's surface was around 6,000 degrees Celsius, and its core was approximately 20 million degrees Celsius.
In other words, an Adamantium weapon could only be melted again by throwing it into the Sun.
A true one-time molding, never to deform again... even saving on after-sales service!
As for Wolverine 2, where Uncle Wolf's claws were severed by the Silver Samurai's Adamantium blade... Fox, come out and take the beating!
In the comics, the Silver Samurai not only possessed an Adamantium blade, but also created a kind of faster-than-light particle energy.
By attaching that energy to his blade, he could disrupt the forces between atoms, allowing it to cut through all manner of incomparably hard objects.
But against Uncle Wolf's claws... yeah, right!
Uncle Wolf could sit there and let him hack away all day. After waking from a nap, there probably would not even be a white mark on his claws.
Rimuru had not coveted Adamantium for just a day or two, but unfortunately, she had never found a way to get her hands on it.
Now that Nick Fury had delivered himself to her doorstep, she would be letting herself down if she did not fleece him hard.
Of course, fleecing him would be pointless
