A Battle

Lemnian Hollow, the former mining district settlement.

[Primus]'s power descended. Eight heavenly dragons—dragon-shaped Ethereals woven from Corruptive Breath and [Primus]'s golden light—roared as they surged forth.

Their scales and claws were fearsome, their bodies coiling across the sky. They cast the mining district into suffocating shadow. Then a gray-purple curtain fell, sealing this part of the Hollow off from the outside world.

The majesty of a god hung overhead, yet it also revealed how closely this being was connected to Yunkui Mountain.

There was the power sealed within the Azure Nether Sword, and now the wondrous patterns flowing around the eight dragons, identical to those of the Yunkui Mountain Arts.

Griseo had dared to use prayers [Primus] had bestowed upon the faithful to set a trap for their god.

That had crossed a line.

Sobek roared, his massive body suddenly breaking free of the force suppressing him. The eight heavenly dragons coiled and roared with him as Corruptive Breath surged.
