Background

Belle manages Random Play with her older brother, Wise, while the pair secretly operate as the Proxy identity Phaethon. She handles the HDD system, communicates through Eous, and supports Hollow commissions from the video store. 2 96 97

When Griseo was rejected by the New Eridu Academy of Fine Arts despite receiving full marks, Belle confronted admissions director Meipu and uncovered the academy’s financial gatekeeping. She returned to Random Play furious on Griseo’s behalf but struggled to tell her the truth. 1

Griseo became part of Belle and Wise’s household, prompting the siblings to renovate Random Play with a third-floor bedroom and art studio for her. Belle manages Griseo’s earnings, checks on her health and growth, and persistently makes her wear shoes despite Griseo’s dislike of them. 5

Belle later traveled to the Outer Ring as Phaethon’s representative, negotiated an alliance with the Sons of Calydon, and identified Lucius’s likely plan to undermine Pompey during Inferno Rider. 55 57

Her understanding of herself changed when Griseo disclosed that Belle and Wise possess Authority connected to Carole’s research and their implant surgeries. Belle subsequently became Yixuan’s registered disciple, seeking to control her emerging Ether-related abilities and investigate Carole’s disappearance. 176 177

During the Lemnian Hollow incidents, Griseo strengthened Belle with Ether Energy and involved her in the plan to stabilize the Azure Nether Sword. Personality

Belle is expressive, mischievous, and highly protective of the people she considers family. She reacts quickly when Griseo or Wise may be in danger, from falsely reporting Wise over a misunderstanding to urging Griseo to summon Hua when Eous’s silence suggests Belle herself has been attacked. 1 65
