Wanzhou's Story Before the Birth of the Void Hunter

Wanzhou's story took place before New Eridu was built.

After the Previous Civilization Era, the world was riddled with scars.

People not only had to eke out an existence amid the ruins of war, but also fend off the threat of Hollows at all times.

There was little contact between the various surviving settlements, and with the population so sparse, systems of inheritance were fragile... Humanity at the time could no longer be called a civilization.

Most of the technology and knowledge from the Previous Civilization Era had been lost. People had lost the means to resist corruption.

The flame of "civilization" was almost extinguished.

But Wanzhou's appearance changed everything. She possessed technology beyond imagination.

A worker lay painfully on a hospital bed. Wanzhou stood before him, applying medicinal powder made from Huiling Stone to the patient's corrupted wounds.

The powder emitted a faint blue glow. The patient's convulsing body gradually relaxed, inch by inch, while the workers gathered around held their breath and watched.

"How do you feel?" Wanzhou asked.

"It doesn't hurt as much anymore." The man slowly sat up, looked at Wanzhou, and said, "Thank you for saving me, Lady Wanzhou!"

Seeing the patient's condition improve, Wanzhou nodded.

She then handed the remaining Huiling Stone medicinal powder to the medical staff beside her. "Use it on the other patients according to the dosage I just showed you!"

"Yes, Lady Wanzhou!"

The medical staff nodded, their eyes filled with fervor.

Wanzhou merely smiled at everyone's praise and said nothing.

After reminding them once more, she rose and headed outside. The workers in the infirmary spontaneously made way for her, their eyes following her retreating figure as though following a lamp that
