Huanyue's eyes lit up as she pulled out the limited summer pudding she had brought from the shop.

Fine droplets of condensation covered the packaging, and the ice pack was still stubbornly giving off a chill. But in this scorching heat that could melt a person, that little bit of coolness clearly would not last long. After all, the ingredients inside were not some heat-resistant gel.

She hurried forward several steps, then suddenly stopped.

Her intuition gave her a gentle tap—someone seemed to be following her in secret. Someone from Fraxinus? Were they really that bold?

Though it might not necessarily be them.

She lifted her eyes with captivating grace, a smile at the corners of her lips, and calmly turned into another shop.

It had been a spur-of-the-moment decision.

If she relied on Angel for everything, life would lose a great deal of its fun.

The wind chime by the door rang.

"Welcome home, Master~"

A maid-clad clerk came forward. Her eyes flashed with brief amazement when they touched the guest's face, but she quickly composed herself and gave an elegant bow.

Then her gaze fell on the pudding in Huanyue's hand, and her expression became somewhat troubled.

"I'm terribly sorry, miss, but this shop does not allow outside food. Um, as a new guest, if you order the 'Adorable Paw-Filled Set,' we'll provide a complimentary pudding."

Wow! This was a shop she had never visited before.

Huanyue gave a quiet cry in her heart, interest glinting in her eyes.

She had never been to this place before—the maid-clad staff all wore cat-ear headbands, and there were quite a few cats in the shop as well. Each wore an employee badge, their coats glossy and bright, clearly very well cared for.

But the extravagant ultra-limited pudding in her hand,
