"It's over. The camp is finished. No one can stop a Tailed Beast on a rampage."
"Not necessarily! This is the Land of Rain. The rain can hinder the One-Tail's sand," a Sand Shinobi Jonin shouted.
Images of the Mangekyo Sharingan filled the One-Tail's mind, relentlessly driving a frenzied impulse into it.
It let out another thunderous roar. Its tail lashed wildly through the camp, crushing tent after tent.
Many Sand Shinobi who had not escaped in time were struck by the enormous tail. Their bones shattered, and they died on the spot.
A faint red tinge spread through the water flowing across the ground.
Screams rang out amid the downpour.
Fugaku found a secluded spot in the camp, released Black Mist Invisibility, and quietly watched the One-Tail wreak havoc.
He was waiting for Ebizo, Sunagakure Camp's commander, to appear. After a disaster of this scale, Ebizo could not stay hidden for long.
In the distance, several figures darted between the tents and reached the One-Tail in moments. They were Sunagakure Camp's senior officials.
"How did the One-Tail get into the camp?" one of them asked.
Ebizo frowned as well. "A Konoha shinobi must have infiltrated the camp and released the Tailed Beast.
"Few Konoha shinobi could enter the camp without being detected.
"Of those at Konoha Camp, only Fugaku Uchiha has that kind of ability. Get everyone away from the Tailed Beast.
"This isn't the Land of Wind. There's no need to fight it head-on and suffer needless casualties.
"Fugaku Uchiha probably released it to wear down Sunagakure Camp's combat strength."
The other senior officials agreed. The One-Tail had only just been released and was at its most frenzied. There was no reason to confront it now.
They would be better off staying clear and looking for a chance
