Black Shield Police Department.

Carmen and Erxiao had been summoned early that morning and were waiting in the room.

"Boss?"

Erxiao finally spoke up, only to see Carmen give him a slight shake of the head.

The door opened, and Commander Old Ke walked in. He beckoned to Carmen and Erxiao. "Come with me!"

When Carmen and Erxiao entered, she gave them an appraising look.

Director Hogg turned toward the woman too.

"Lady Zoe, they're the ones who brought back Lawrence's remains. You can ask them directly."

With that, he gave Old Ke a look.

Old Ke understood.

"Carmen, Lady Zoe is here on Lord Miller's behalf. Whatever she asks you, just tell her exactly what happened."
