The sudden attack caught the Raiders from Marauder Prison completely off guard!

They had only received orders that morning to come collect the Survivors. How could the Black Shield Police Department have set an ambush here?

But this was no time to wonder.

"Enemy attack!"

Battle-hardened instinct made the Raiders raise their weapons at once, ready to fight back and retreat.

But Carmen had been lying in wait. How could he let them escape?

The battle ended with startling speed. The Black Shield Police Department won a resounding victory, and apart from one unlucky man hit by a stray bullet, everyone came through unscathed.

Every Raider from Marauder Prison was wiped out.

Carmen walked slowly over to Severed Hand, who had been taken captive.

Severed Hand lay face down with his hands over his head. His head and face were smeared with blood. The Black Shield Police Department had shown no mercy to someone who had tried to make a deal with Marauder Prison.

Carmen nudged Severed Hand with his foot.

"Is there anyone here named Dai Le?"

Severed Hand froze.

"Dai Le? Sir, there's no one named Dai Le here!"

Severed Hand looked at him pleadingly.

But in the crowd, Dai Le suddenly raised his head at Carmen's words.

"Head down!"

One of the men guarding the captives kicked him hard.

Dai Le fell to the ground with a cry of pain, drawing Carmen's attention.

The man had already raised his foot to kick him again.

Dai Le suddenly shouted, "Sir, I'm Dai Le! My name is Dai Le!"

The raised foot stopped in midair. The man had heard Carmen's question too.

He did not know why his commander was looking for someone named Dai Le, but he knew better than to keep kicking.
