Yu Yuan was still about fifty meters from the Giant Tree.
He had Miemie stop, then surveyed the surroundings and thought for a moment.
After retreating several dozen meters, he said to Zhizhi:
"Zhizhi, check the area!"
Zhizhi immediately jumped to the ground and grew larger. With a series of squeaks, Zhizhi began calling every rodent in the area.
Soon, rustling came from the forest as rodents of all kinds answered Zhizhi's call and gathered.
They came in all shapes and sizes. Some had four snow-white paws and fluffy tails trailing behind them. Others were black all over except for a white stripe down the middle of their backs.
Some darted between the trees, leaping from branch to branch with remarkable agility.
In moments, Yu Yuan was surrounded by rodents of every kind.
Some perched in the trees, some crouched at Zhizhi's feet, and others had just burrowed out of the ground.
There were far more than a few hundred.
But Yu Yuan's gaze fell on two moles that had just emerged from the earth, their fur sleek and glossy.
Their creature rank was Bronze Tier.
Aside from Mutant Giant Rats, these were the second kind of Bronze-Tier rodent Yu Yuan had seen.
He looked at the trail of freshly raised earth across the ground.
"Interesting!"
Now that he had found them, he wasn't about to pass them up.
He brought out the Loser's Cube and took in both Bronze-Tier Moles.
Zhizhi clearly knew the routine by now.
Once all the rodents had arrived, Zhizhi wasted no time. Standing on hind legs, Zhizhi pointed at the Giant Tree a hundred meters away and began issuing orders.
At Zhizhi's command, the swarm erupted into motion.
A chorus of squeaks rose as the rodents turned as one and charged toward the Giant
