The Civilization Ladder.
Although two days had passed, the Fallen Abyss's investigation into whoever had killed Anta continued.
Rather than easing off, the investigation only intensified.
As a near-Gold Tier player of the Fallen Abyss, the demon Anta had carried the Lava Demons' high hopes.
In particular, Anta's Civilization World was a molten core planet, possessing an aura of destruction that was extraordinarily precious to Lava Demons.
If Anta absorbed that aura of destruction and used it to advance to Gold Tier, his potential would have been immeasurable.
Yet a prospect with such limitless potential had simply died.
No faction would have let that go.
But the circumstances surrounding these Civilization Ruins were highly unusual. They blocked all detection, making divination and reconnaissance impossible.
Even the identities of those who had participated were difficult to verify.
So far, only four players' identities had been confirmed, and even those had been determined through their deceased status.
Anta, Artus, an elder of the Blood Clan's Ancient Faction, and a Bronze Tier player.
The investigation revealed that Anta and that Blood Clan member had died at almost the same time.
Some also suspected a connection between Artus's death and Anta's.
But with Artus dead as well, there was naturally no way to pursue that lead.
Identifying the others became the key to a breakthrough.
Just then, a piece of news from the [Astral Orbit Order] reached the demons of the Fallen Abyss.
"What? A direct descendant of the Blood Clan's Duke Night Ancient is suspected of having ties to the Civilization Ruins?"
A Gold Tier Lava Demon immediately perked up upon receiving the information from his subordinates.
He personally contacted the members of the [Astral Orbit Order] and obtained more precise information.
"You directed the divination toward holders of the Civilization Ruins Invitation?"
