Die—
Two low snarls erupted through the air at once.
Two blood-red figures closed in from opposite sides like crimson bullets hurtling toward each other.
They drew closer at blinding speed.
On the left was the blood monster Black Ice had become. On the right was a Vampire Werewolf empowered by both Blood Energy and Wildness.
Boom—
Their power collided. A mighty shock wave spread from the point of impact, and a crimson blast swept outward with a rush of wind.
But that was only the beginning.
Bang, bang, bang—
The impacts came one after another.
Black Ice was massive, but his attacks were anything but slow.
His hands moved up and down, weaving an airtight defense.
He blocked every one of Hogg's attacks and seized openings to launch deadly strikes of his own.
Hogg was much smaller than Black Ice.
But the force and speed of his blows had surpassed anything an ordinary person could comprehend.
As he darted around, his body vanished from sight. Only faint red afterimages remained.
He attacked Black Ice from above, below, left, and right.
Yet every strike met an arm that appeared at just the right moment.
Each collision sent out a small shock wave.
When the drone transmitted the footage back to the Command Vehicle, the Alpha Wolf nearly stopped breathing.
He stared in a daze for a moment, then quickly came to his senses.
"Did we record the footage?"
"Automatic recording started when the surveillance feed went live. Everything has been backed up."
The Alpha Wolf gave a slight nod at the soldier's report.
He breathed a quiet sigh of relief.
This was the Vampire Werewolf's first real battle.
The footage was immensely valuable. The Biological Research Institute would surely be able to glean more from it.
