Illyasviel von Einzbern—and it was just before the Fifth Holy Grail War began.

"Dressing as a girl would be one thing, but getting my heart ripped out too?"

Su Ning was panicking.

Thus, unwilling to be killed by Golden Gilgamesh as the Lesser Grail, Su Ning decided to rise up in resistance. The first step was to take out the family head, Acht, and get hold of the Dress of Heaven.

"And the Tohsaka family's Jewel Sword! If I really can't beat them, I'll just run. Who cares whether the world gets destroyed? Heh... I'm just playing~!"

And so, the perfectly fine Fifth Holy Grail War became unrecognizable to everyone,

and then the countless worlds began to suffer as well.

Chapter One: I Dressed as a Girl

"Someone... save me..."

In the boundless darkness, a silver-haired, red-eyed girl trembled all over. She wore only a tattered white dress, stained with scarlet blood.

Su Ning unconsciously walked toward the girl.

Perhaps having heard his footsteps, the girl raised her head and looked at him.

Her flawless, ruby-like eyes brimmed with indescribable helplessness and despair.

"I'll save you!"

Su Ning spoke softly, his voice filled with tenderness and pity.

A speck of white light burst where their gazes met, driving away the endless darkness and revealing the world's original appearance once more.

The wind blew bitingly cold, and goose-feather snowflakes struck his body, making Su Ning shiver involuntarily.

That was perfectly normal. Anyone wearing nothing but a tattered white nightgown in this frozen wilderness would tremble.

That was right. Su Ning, a transmigrator from Blue Star, had gained a new body and name—Illyasviel von Einzbern.

This was the Fate plane of the Type-Moon world. It was 2004, and the location was the Winter Forest outside Germany's Einzbern Castle.

There were only seven days left until the Fifth Holy Grail War.

Because the meaning of her existence was to become the Lesser Grail that temporarily housed Heroic Spirit souls during the Fifth Holy Grail War. From the moment of her birth, Jubstacheit, the eighth-generation head of the Einzbern family—Acht for short—had limited her lifespan.

"Fuck! So even in the best possible scenario, I can only live for less than another month?"

Su Ning immediately lost his composure. He would rather dress as a girl forever than die.

What was more, a petite figure remained in his mind, so helpless and despairing within that cold darkness.

"Right! There's still the Holy Grail! As long as I make a wish to the Holy Grail—"

A flash of inspiration suddenly struck Su Ning, but she immediately realized the problem.

The Greater Holy Grail of this plane had been polluted by All the World's Evil during the Third Holy Grail War. Although the mechanism for granting wishes had not changed, it would maliciously twist the wisher's desire.
