"There are three minutes left until two o'clock," Rin Tohsaka checked the time. "At two in the morning, my magical energy will reach its peak intensity... but can I really do it without a Holy Relic?"

Rin Tohsaka unconsciously glanced at the box not far away.

Inside was a fragmented fossil—the Holy Relic her father, Tokiomi Tohsaka, had used in the previous Holy Grail War.

To purchase it, Tokiomi had drained all of the Tohsaka family's magical assets.

"I can do it! According to that guy Kirei Kotomine, the only classes that haven't manifested yet are Archer and Saber—both very powerful classes. There shouldn't be any weak Servants, and with my level of magical energy... even without a Holy Relic, I'm sure I can summon Saber!"

Rin Tohsaka pumped herself up for a good while. A one-in-two chance—she really did have a high probability of summoning Saber, the strongest direct class.

That is, if she hadn't brought the Ruby Necklace, passed down through generations of Tohsaka family heads, along with her.

The magical incantation beneath her feet grew brighter with the infusion of magical energy. The radiance of the Five Great Elements flickered in turn, ultimately converging into a fiery red—the same color as the Ruby Necklace faintly glowing at her chest.
