Feng Ling's day had been thoroughly planned out by Pei Xianjue.
After breakfast, there was face washing, skincare, and hair care. At noon, she sampled State Banquet-level cuisine. After a brief afternoon rest, she set off with Pei Xianjue to serve as an interviewer.
They rode in a spacious business van, followed by a clean, attractive truck carrying the Cat Spider and Cat Owl.
That truck was so spotless, like it was brand-new, that Feng Ling could not help suspecting Pei Xianjue had bought it just for this.
"There are sixteen people attending the interview. I'll choose one from among them. If the rest perform well too, the Pei Clan Group will sign Hunter Contracts with them," Pei Xianjue said in the car.
Feng Ling glanced at her. "At last night's meeting, you said this wasn't the right time to push forward the Hunter Plan. And now you're already signing people up?"
"The company's operations have nothing to do with me~" Pei Xianjue said with a smile. "As for what I said at the meeting, of course I had to preserve the purity of my personal stance."
Feng Ling could not be bothered to comment. She turned to look out the window. "What happens after a Hunter signs the contract? What exactly do they do?"
