Li Qing was expressionless. "I'm used to it. No Player likes Administrators."
Feng Ling smiled and teased him, "You're fellow countrymen, aren't you? Are you really that irreconcilable?"
"Have you ever seen prisoners in the real world like prison guards?" Li Qing countered.
Feng Ling paused slightly, then thought, That was actually a fitting description. Although the Xenomorphs called themselves Players, they were clearly more like a group of exiled prisoners.
As for the Labyrinth Administrators, were they the bailiffs watching over the prisoners?
Those bailiffs were pretty unlucky too. They had been exiled alongside the prisoners, unable to go home and forced to guard against being killed by them.
"Feng Ling!"
Someone suddenly called out to her from afar.
Feng Ling turned and saw Su Yuqing and Xu Yiming waving at her in the distance, along with several other Hunters.
"We found something!" Xu Yiming shouted.
Feng Ling immediately hurried over. "What did you find?"
Su Yuqing said to her, "Someone found a corpse up ahead. There's an eye on it that looks very similar to the one you showed everyone before. Go take a look."
The news instantly woke Feng Ling up.
She followed the Hunters forward. Quite a few Hunters had gathered ahead, all waiting for Feng Ling to confirm the corpse's condition.
The corpse was an adult man, frozen grayish-purple. A layer of white frost covered his body, and embedded between his collarbones was a gray-white eye.
Feng Ling took one look and nodded with certainty. "That's right, it's the same eye. This person was a Xenomorph, and a member of an organization among the Xenomorphs called the Star Society."
She continued examining the body and found that everything below its chest had almost been devoured by beasts.
