Ye Zheng asked with an exceptionally grave expression, "You mean you can turn that pile of flesh into your own pet?"
"I'm not sure." Feng Ling glanced at the huge Snail in the distance. While they had been discussing this, it had moved another dozen meters closer.
She said, "When Cat Spider and Cat Owl were hatched, I used the corpses of kittens that hadn't been dead for long. The Card requires fresh flesh, so I think living creatures should count too. But I've never absorbed anything alive, and I've never absorbed something this huge. We can only try. If it fails, it won't be too late to leave the Maze and get explosives."
