Chicken-Foot House left the forest, sprinting forward on its long strides. It crossed the vast plains and soon entered a Swampland that stretched almost beyond sight.
The people inside either leaned against the windows or rested against the walls. Their nerves, tense for so long, finally began to relax.
No one knew how long they had been running through the Swampland. Maybe an hour, maybe longer. At last, a grayish-green shore appeared ahead.
