Chapter 570: Dead Either Way
The Witch had already fled into the passage. When she discovered that an Iron Gate sealed the end of it, she immediately understood—unless they killed the Labyrinth Master, no one was getting out!
She stamped her feet in fury. Turning around, she saw Meteor and Doctor pursuing her again and pointed at Doctor as she cursed, "I knew keeping you around would bring trouble! You want all of us to be buried with Meteor!!!"
Doctor looked ashamed. "Meteor and I have been together ever since we left the Incubation Center. I can't just stand by and watch her die."
Giving up entirely, the Witch viciously threw the boy in her arms to the ground and shouted, "Damn it! Kill him! If I don't let you kill him, you'll kill me instead! Kill him, and maybe he'll be reborn in me the next second. Either way, I'm dead today!"
The little boy hit the ground and burst into loud sobs!
Meteor raised her hand and stabbed!
Just as Curse Fang rose, a cold gleam shot forth like a flying blade and sliced off Meteor's arm with a swish!
Doctor cried out, "Meteor!"
Several Steel Blades stabbed into the passage, transforming into Fangs and Claws that clamped onto Meteor and Doctor's shoulder blades before violently dragging them out of the passage!
"What's the point of hiding in there? Come out and keep me company!!!" Feng Ling roared from outside.
The Witch and the little boy were positioned slightly farther in, inadvertently escaping the attack.
The Witch picked up the boy from the ground and impatiently coaxed him, "Stop bawling! In a situation like this, living even one minute longer means you're lucky!"
