After the rescue operation, Feng Ling rejected Leland’s romantic proposal but kept the heart-shaped stone he gave her to send to Pei Xianjue. She chose to continue traveling with Ye Zheng and Li Qing, who worried about their route as Miaomiao still had not replied.

• An old man in ragged robes appeared above a plaza and effortlessly struck down a sect elder, declaring that he would consume everyone there.
• Leland gave Feng Ling a heart-shaped stone and confessed that he wanted a relationship with her, but Feng Ling rejected him while keeping the stone.
• Feng Ling asked Huang Yi to mail the stone to Pei Xianjue in the Quarantine Zone, then said she would travel abroad to become stronger.
• Feng Ling declined Huang Yi’s offer of a vehicle and told Ye Zheng and Li Qing that they would travel by flying on a Contaminant.
• Li Qing warned that flying straight to Paradise could expose them to an attack by the Players and confirmed that Miaomiao still had not replied.

Feng Ling and her companions followed fleeing Players toward a gathering place, where they found a Fish Monster caught in an ambush. Feng Ling swooped down to terrify and attack the Players, then called on the Kite to burn their squad as the battle escalated.

• Feng Ling spotted a large Red Dot near the Underworld Labyrinth and discovered it was a frenzied Fish Monster rather than a Star Society officer.
• Ye Zheng suggested following the evacuating Players to locate more gathering places, while Feng Ling and Li Qing discussed the danger of attacking areas containing refugees.
