the rampaging Fallen Heart Flame took the form of a translucent Fire Python beneath the formation and hurled itself against the barrier again and again!

Flames slammed into the formation's markings. The entire seal shuddered violently, its red light flickering.

Outside the tower, the elders guarding the formation held their breath and watched the seal intently, Dou Qi surging through them as they stood ready.

The elders formed seals in unison, sending dozens of dense beams of Dou Qi into the sealing formation.

Their hands flew through intricate gestures, tearing a narrow opening in the seal just wide enough for one person to pass through.
